Discovering signs of an ancient planet beneath the Earth's mantle
Scientists recently discovered mysterious lumps in the Earth's mantle that may belong to pieces of a Mars-sized space rock that crashed into Earth about four and a half billion years ago.
According to Tekna news and technology service, a recent report on the Earth's mantle shows that the remnants of an ancient pre-planet that hit the Earth about four and a half billion years ago can still be identified in its mantle. The theory of the formation of the moon shows the impact of a planet the size of Mars called Tia. After the impact, this planet tore off pieces of the earth and the moon was also the result of the earth's impact with this planet.
Now, Chinese and American researchers, along with British researchers, have discovered evidence of masses of the planet Tia in the Earth's mantle. According to these researchers, the new discovery provides information about the big impact hypothesis, which can reveal the secret of the existence of dense continental masses. These discovered masses make up about 4% of the mantle and the most important one is under the surface of Africa and under the Pacific Ocean.
With the new discovery, it can be definitely stated that the collision event that led to our formation was the main reason for the non-uniform state of the moon's mantle, and it can be considered the starting point for the evolution of the Earth.
